Haryana Police Rescue 12-Year-Old Boy After Kidnapping and Police Encounter
Haryana Police rescued a 12-year-old boy, Kabir, son of Sunita, an executive engineer at Panipat Thermal Power Plant, within 11 hours of his kidnapping from Panipat. The kidnappers demanded a ransom of Rs 1.5 crore and attempted to mislead police by indicating the child was taken to Uttar Pradesh. A coordinated operation involving Panipat, Rohtak, and Gohana police led to a highway chase and shootout in Rohtak, resulting in the arrest of three suspects, including a woman. Two accused were injured and hospitalized, while Kabir was safely recovered and is under medical observation.
