Fatal Collision and Fire Involving Two Lorries on Andhra Pradesh's NH-16
Early on July 1, two lorries collided head-on near Boyapalem village on National Highway 16 in Andhra Pradesh's Guntur district, causing a fire that engulfed both vehicles. The crash, reportedly triggered when one lorry crossed the central divider, resulted in three to four fatalities, including drivers and cleaners trapped inside. One lorry carried stones, the other paper, which fueled the fire. Authorities conducted rescue and recovery operations amid traffic disruptions and have launched an investigation.
