Venus, Jupiter, and Mercury Align in Rare Early June Planet Parade
In early June, Venus and Jupiter will appear very close in the western sky, reaching their closest approach of 1.6 degrees on June 8 and 9, visible without special equipment. This rare conjunction, the closest since 2002, offers a striking view as the two brightest planets align. From June 11 to 15, Mercury will join, creating a three-planet alignment known as a planet parade, visible shortly after sunset toward the western horizon.
