Five Villagers Found Alive in Flooded Laos Cave; Search Continues for Two Others
Rescue teams in Laos have found five of seven villagers trapped in a flooded cave in Xaisomboun province since May 19. The group entered the cave searching for gold before heavy rain caused flash flooding that blocked their exit. The rescued individuals appeared in good spirits, while search efforts continue for the remaining two missing villagers. Thai and Lao rescue teams, including experienced divers, are collaborating in the ongoing operation.
