Fire Destroys Over 20 Vehicles at Vijayapura Car Service Centre in Karnataka

A major fire broke out early February 5 at a car service centre on National Highway 50 in Vijayapura, Karnataka, destroying over 20 vehicles and spare parts valued at around Rs 35 lakh. Firefighters quickly controlled the blaze, preventing its spread to nearby areas. No casualties were reported as the centre was unoccupied. Authorities are investigating the cause. Separately, a fire also occurred at a sugar factory in Vijayapura district, with no injuries reported.
