IMD Issues Orange Alert for Thunderstorms and Gusty Winds in Delhi-NCR
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued an orange alert for Delhi-NCR on June 28, forecasting moderate thunderstorms with lightning, gusty winds of 40-70 km/h, and light to moderate rainfall within the next two hours. This alert reflects the transitional weather as the region awaits the southwest monsoon. Similar conditions were also predicted for neighboring districts in Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan.
