Indian Railways Advances Departure Times of Vande Bharat Express Trains from Varanasi
Indian Railways has revised the departure times of two Vande Bharat Express trains from Varanasi (Cantonment) station, advancing them by 10 minutes effective November 2, 2026. Train 20888 to Ranchi will now depart at 3:55 pm, and train 22500 to Deoghar at 6:10 am. The changes aim to improve punctuality and passenger convenience without altering routes or journey durations. Additionally, new stops have been added on the Varanasi-Ranchi route to enhance accessibility for travelers from smaller towns.
