Israel Proposes Broad Regional Security Alliance from India to US to Address Iran's Military Buildup
Israel's Ministry of Defence Director General Amir Baram proposed establishing a broad regional security alliance extending from India through West Asia to Europe and the US to counter Iran's military expansion. Speaking at the Herzliya Conference, he emphasized the need for a tailored Israeli force build-up and a new US-Israel security Memorandum of Understanding based on shared interests and values. The proposed alliance aligns with the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor aimed at enhancing connectivity. Baram also cautioned against international agreements that could accelerate Iran's military capabilities.
