Surat Police Rescue Man Attempting Suicide by Entering Locked Seventh-Floor Apartment
On June 8 in Surat's Laskana area, Police Constable Shailesh Chudasama and driver Kripalsinh Gohil rescued a man who had allegedly consumed poison and locked himself inside a seventh-floor apartment. Unable to enter through the door, Chudasama climbed the exterior grille to reach the man, restrained him, and removed remaining poison. The man was taken to hospital for treatment. Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi praised the police team's swift and courageous response.
