Two-Day Kukkarahalli Kere Habba Highlights Lake Conservation and Ecological Restoration
The two-day Kukkarahalli Kere Habba celebrated the ecology, heritage, and biodiversity of Kukkarahalli Lake with activities including exhibitions, bird and tree watching, and a painting competition. Over 1,600 participants, including students, officials, and nature enthusiasts, supported lake conservation and the restoration of Purnaiah Naale as an ecological corridor. The event featured educational exhibits, a 3D model of Purnaiah Naale, and presentations on its historical and environmental significance, emphasizing the need for sustainable preservation.
