Two Navi Mumbai Students Electrocuted by Short Circuit in Waterlogged Area Amid Monsoon
Two 15-year-old college girls in Navi Mumbai suffered electric shocks after a short circuit electrified rainwater beneath the Nerul LP Bridge amid heavy monsoon rains. Passersby rescued them using a tree branch, and they were hospitalized at DY Patil Hospital, later shifted to Fortis Hospital. Navi Mumbai Mayor Sujata Patil called for investigations into exposed wiring and urged prompt repairs to prevent similar incidents, highlighting ongoing safety concerns during the monsoon season.
