Mysuru Hosts Two-Day Festival Showcasing Indigenous Seed Varieties and Conservation
A two-day indigenous seed festival, 'Desi Beejotsava', was held in Mysuru, Karnataka, showcasing over 500 native seed varieties including rare paddy, millets, vegetables, and fruits. Organized by Sahaja Samruddha with support from the Karnataka Biodiversity Board, the event featured seed displays, organic products, training sessions on bamboo cultivation and seed conservation, and a seed-exchange program.
