Chhattisgarh Woman Dies by Suicide After Internet Disruptions Interrupt Mobile Video Viewing

A 52-year-old woman in Chhattisgarh's Korba district died by suicide after repeated internet disruptions interrupted her viewing of reels on her mobile phone. Identified as Manglo Bai Sarathi, she became upset when the network repeatedly failed, damaging her phone before consuming pesticide at her home. Her 17-year-old daughter alerted family members, leading to medical treatment, but Sarathi died during hospitalization. Police have handed over the body to the family and are continuing their investigation.
