The Dawoodi Bohra community in Bhopal celebrated Eid-ul-Adha (Bakrid) on May 26, a day earlier than the wider Muslim community in India, following the Egyptian-Hijri calendar. The celebrations included special prayers for world peace, progress, and brotherhood, held at the Haidri Mosque in Aliganj and other local Bohra mosques. With over 50,000 Bohras in Madhya Pradesh and 10,000 in Bhopal, community leaders expressed gratitude to local authorities and citizens for supporting a peaceful event.
